Jackson is a freelance trombonist born, raised and based out of the Gulf Coast area. He plays in a multitude of diverse regular groups, such as the Village Brass, Emerald Coast Jazz Orchestra and The Guffman Trio. He is also an active participant in the Jazz Society of Pensacola, playing for many of their different events.

Jackson has also played with some well-know groups and artists over is growing professional career. Those artists include the Harry James Orchestra, Steve Wiest, Lou Marini, Doug Elliott, and Steve Williams.

Jackson is also a private instructor. He teaches trombone privately and jazz theory and improvisation throughout all instrument types.

Happily married, Jackson likes to spend his free unmusical time with his wife, playing with his dog, cooking and casually playing video games.
