Keith has been playing trumpet professionally for nearly 20 years. He got his start with the international touring ensemble Mad Caddies. He then went on to join the indescribable San Francisco-based quintet King City and later the highly acclaimed Mariachi el Bronx. Although he still performs with all three groups the latter has become his primary focus these days and are somewhat of a staple on late night television.

Douglas has guested with many highly renowned live acts, from NOFX to Manu Chao. He, individually, as well as with el Bronx have lent their talents on a number of studio sessions for artists such as Madness and TV themes and performances for programs like Showtime’s Weeds (and even Yo Gabba Gabba!).

His busy schedule includes recording and steady touring to all points on the globe (sans Antarctica… someday!) and there are no signs of this slowing anytime soon!
